ChatGPT is making a media storm. We decided to ask ChatGPT what it was, why it’s helpful, and what’s next from AI. This majority of this article is actually written by AI!
“ChatGPT is a conversational AI model developed by OpenAI. It is trained on a large dataset of human conversation and can generate responses to text input in a conversational manner. It is designed to be used in chatbot and messaging applications, and can provide responses to a wide range of topics and contexts”.
“There are several advantages to using ChatGPT, including:
ChatGPT is so human-like, it apparently got offended at the nonsensical nature of my question, and spat out an error message.
Luckily, I could press try again, and this time, ChatGPT had time to cool down:
“One potential disadvantage of ChatGPT is that it is a machine learning model and may not always provide the most appropriate or accurate response to a given input. It may also struggle with complex or nuanced conversation topics, and may not be able to provide the same level of empathy and understanding as a human customer service agent. Additionally, ChatGPT relies on large amounts of data for training, and may not be able to provide personalized responses to users without significant additional data input”.
“The future of AI is expected to see continued advancements in the capabilities of machine learning models, such as ChatGPT. These advancements are likely to include improvements in natural language processing, allowing for more accurate and appropriate responses to a wider range of conversation topics. Additionally, AI is expected to play a growing role in various industries and applications, including customer service, healthcare, finance, and transportation. There may also be increased integration of AI with other technologies, such as the Internet of Things and robotics, to enable new and improved applications and services.”
A bit off topic, but something on everyone’s minds over in the UK…
“It is difficult to predict the weather with certainty, so it is impossible to say whether or not it will be a white Christmas. It is best to check the local weather forecast for more accurate information”.
While the above does not initially appear very useful, it is also indicative of the huge strides this model has taken compared to previous AI models - it knows its limitations. Gone are the days where you get nonsense answers from AI in an apparent attempt to please!

ChatGPT gave fantastic answers nearly every time, first time. On those occasions it didn’t, the try again function was incredibly helpful. If at first ChatGPT doesn’t succeed, try, try, and try again (we never had to hit ‘Try Again’ more than once).
We’re particularly excited with combining AI chatbots and copywriters with our AI video generator - instant videos anyone? It’s already possible to have lifelike text to video avatars present your text in video format, so the ability to generate those initial scripts themselves by AI too marks a progression to a fully automated and generated content workflow. Here’s a video we made using a ChatGPT script inputted into our text to video Studio:
